Sumissive

Hmmm...this word hs given me issues. Bein submissive to me is one thing, being a doormat is another. But I had a friend point out today, the bible doesn't say be submissive if you want to or set specific limitations. It just said to do it...regardless what is asked of you. I struggle with this. Being "in charge" for so long with the kids while the hubs is gone here and there due to the military...its difficult to give up that control once he is back home. But there is also the attitude that is behind it. Is my attitude "FINE! I'll do it" or is it truely done with a humble heart? This is definately a great area of struggle for me.
