December 1st! First day of the last month of the year. The girls are getting excited for Christmas, but I think are sadly under the impression that they are still going to get snow like they have every year in VA. I tried to tell them that it doesn't snow in FL...especially on the coast where we are. Don't think they will believe it until Christmas Day comes and there is no snow. Oh well. They will learn soon enough. Abby managed to break her toe and is in a boot for 2 wks until it heals enough for her to walk on it again. I'm not sure if she will be ready to dance again though in only 2 weeks. I think it is going to hurt her more than she realizes. But then again I am only the mommy....what do I know??

Autism Walk

Our family will be doing a walk for autism on September 22nd. All 5 of us will be doing it. I'm excited that our entire faimy will do something like this together. I think the girls will enjoy it. I'm hoping that what we fundraise will help Abby and kids like Abby in the area in the future. Autism is so misunderstood and many people are afraid of what they can't understand. Settling In...

SO, hubby finally got home,we eventually got passed all the crazy activities (Emma did awesome in her recital!!)and we are now moved, in FL, in a house and have all our stuff unpacked. The girls started school 2 wks ago, but were interrupted thanks to HUrricane Issac that caused school to close for 3 days last week. They girls seem to be adjusting ok. ITs hard getting used to daddy being home again AND moving AND a new house AND a new church, AND a new school AND a new grade, teachers, etc. My baby went to kindergaten this year!!! SNIFF!!! Hubby is now pushing for me to get a job since I "stay home all day and do nothing". Grrr. So, needless to say...adjustment has been a bit rocky...for everyone.

Enchiladas

I seem to have a love/hate relationship with them. I LOVE them....they HATE my digestive system...so, is it worth it? My mouth says yes, my guts says NO!!!

So much to do and so little time to do it in!! Only 2 weeks left of school,then Abby has her 24 hr EEG at the beginning of June, then Emma has all her crazy recital stuff going on every weekend in June, there is the EFMP day camp the 2nd last week of June then VBS, then Daddy is home, then movers, then we leave. ACK!!! I'm tired just thinking about it! Gonna have a yard sale this weekend and try to get rid of some stuff before all the craziness starts.

No more

SO sick of the SICKIES!!! 2 out of 3 kids have puked this past week, ALL of us have had pink eye in the past 2 weeks, I have a sinus infection, Bethany has bronchitis and now Emma has an unknown lymphnode swelling under her ear. Its painful and the doctors don't know what is wrong. IT has swollen from the size of a quarter to the entire side of her under her jaw. She has gone from mentioningit off and on to complaining almost constantly and not able to turn her head. I can't take much more of this.

I ask for this...right?

I swear I am a glutton for punishment when I take all 3 kids to events like this by myself. I am asking for a nervous breakdown. I am so glad that they are older though so that they listen slightly better than they used to.
